It's been a week and I haven't received any messages from Wallapop! With each purchase, I paid them about 10% of the cost of the goods for insurance, which eventually does not work. The next day I found out that my deal was closed and the seller received my money for the damaged goods.
I had 48 hours from the moment of receipt, then I could open a dispute, which I did. The last time I made a purchase with delivery from Italy to Spain, and when I received my order, I found that it was defective. I have made about 7 purchases in the last couple of months and all the time pays wallapop a commission for so-called "insurance". Don't use it, use eBay instead, you pay a little more for your item but you're really protected there. But if it was for Wallapop I would end up loosing 825€!! This is the worst site in the world, made and run by scammers. I was lucky because the seller was honest and he admitted his mistake, so we arranged a return and refund on our own. Now it's been a week and still not a word from them. They simply ignore you, you can file endless claim but no one ever reply. After 48 hours they transferred the money to the seller, because I couldn't start a return and because they ignored all my claim I made on their website.

Well, you can't start a return, if you follow their instruction you ended up with an error from PC and with a "We're busy, we'll let you know" from the app. They say you have buyer's protection but it's a huge lie! I got an object which was completely different from the description, with defects and without the declared warranty. Im extremely disappointed with the so called Buyer Protection.Ĭareful because Wallapop is a complete scam system. Wow, they couldnt have an option to add proof, or send me a notification in the app saying "Send more proof for your dispute", or "You have 48 hours to send proof about your dispute, check your email". Looks like they sent me an email I didnt see (as the email I use on my account its not my main one) and I hadnt responded before 48 hours. After logging into the app for about a week daily trying to see if something happened, today Wallapop sided with the seller. I was pretty confident I was gonna win, as I had video proof and multiple images as evidence. Recently, I bought a microphone and received a fake replica, so I tried to talk with the seller but he obviously didnt want to accept my return, so it got escalated to Wallapop. I have been a Wallapop client from about 1-2 year, buying quite a few items and getting 5 star reviews on all of them.
